Race The Train (Rotary Challenge) - Saturday 14 August 14m

way in this tough 14 mile race was Simone Capponi in 1.39.39. John
Connelly was the second Strider home in 1.43.47 with Neil Kelly on his
heels in 1.44.59. Ste McNicholas in the (photo above) was the 4th
Strider home clocking 1.57.14 again he was closely shadowed by Tommy
Burke who did 1.57.23.

Well done to Dave Buse who was the sole Penny Lane Strider taking part
in this race in North Wales on Saturday 8 August 2009. Dave completed
the race in 1hr 30min and in doing so came 13th out of 62 runners. The
9 mile race covered 2890ft of Ascent. Ambleside Rydal Round Fell Race - Saturday 30 July 9m/3000ft

It was a challengin race along footpaths, Bridleways and Country Lanes with a pver 50% of the race off road. Rob did the race in 55.58 and Jane got a time of 1:00.50. Well done both of you.
