Penny Lane Striders are delighted to see the return of the Liverpool Marathon after a long period of absence, and we would hope that it is here to stay!
Many of our members have entered the Liverpool Marathon and will be beginning their training programme for the event during the summer months. If you have an ambition to run a marathon, and feel like you could do with some support and encouragement along the way, then Penny Lane Striders will be an ideal club to help you achieve your ambition.
We would welcome new members who would like to join up with one of our marathon training groups.
If you are not aiming for that distance...
Don't worry!! Penny Lane Striders train regularly and some of our members do not enter races - they just enjoy the friendly atmosphere at the club. Those that do enter races will cover a variety of distances, from 5k and 10k up to Half Marathon and marathon distances. We also do a bit of cross country and "multi-terrain" stuff... We can help you train to achieve your goals, whatever the distance!!
