Nathan Walker took part in the Belfast marathon and clocked a time of 4:05  Well done Nathan.

2 May 2010 - Keswick Half Marathon
Seven striders took part in this race with Martin being the first strider to finish in a time of 1.17.49 and 5th Overall. Neil Kelly came home in 1.29.08 with Maria Conaghan clocking 1.34.14 and 2nd Lady.  David Cain finished in a time of 1.36.40 On his birthday!  Rob Hardwick did1.39.17, Susan Cain 1.52.45 and  Jane Hallows 1.54.13.  Well done everyone.

25 April  - Krakow Marathon - Poland
Two Striders took part in this marathon Adrian Loughrey clocked 3:04:58 and Marty Hirrell 3.28.00

25 April 2010 - South Cheshire 20 Mile Race - WINNER Martin Swennson

Two Striders took part in this race with 1st place and race winner being Martin Swensson in a time of 2.03.37 and over 7 minutes in front of the second placed runner. What a superb achievement. Well done Martin.  In16th place came Paul Riley in a time of 2.23.21 again well done Paul.

3 May 2010 - Garstang 10k

Two striders took part in the race Dave Pinnington finished in a time of 42.02 and finished 20th overall and Russell Burnham got a PB in 49.12 Well done Russell.

11 April 2010 - Blackpool Marathon & Half Marathon - PB for Andy

Well done to Andy Keeley taking part in his first ever Marathon he clocked a very impressive time of 3:11:04 with a terrific run. Mark Finch completed the half Marathon in a time of 1:46:24 Well done Mark.

07 April 2010 - Chester Spring 5

Six Striders took part in this cracking 5 miler. Mark Hargreaves.clocked 29.44 as the first strider to finish. Mal Balmer crossed the line in 32.38 with Dave Pinnington close at hand in 32.54. Pam Thurtle finished in great time of 33.44 with Ste Pemberton following in 34.04. Mike Devereux finished strongly in 35.28.  Well done everyone.

04 April 2010 - Halton 5 Mile Race
Nine Striders took part in the annual Halton road race from Runcorn to Hale Park. Nigel Grant led the way in 29:53 not far behind was Paul Riley in 31:02.
Ste Pemberton finished in 34:59. Keith Boyle finished in 38:01 just a few seconds ahead of Mark Finch 38:05.  More info to come on the road racing pages.

02 April 2010 - Southport Good Friday Race 4 Miles
Four Striders took part in this race  Dave Lovatt was first to finish in 24.33. Jane Eardley clocked 29.35. Terence Long finished in 31.35 and Cath Nevin 32.43. 
well done all.

02 April 2010 - Caldervale 10 Mile Race
Mark Finch was the sole strider taking part in this race and finished in a time of 1:25:52 Well done Mark.

02 April 2010 - Salford 10k - PB for Paul Riley
Four striders took part in this race with Paul Riley first to finish in 38:14PB  Martin Hirrell was second strider to finish in 39:59 followed by Mikel Devereux in 44:15 and Michelle Kelly in 48:55

28 March 2010 -  Hull 20 mile race
Adrian Loughrey was the only Strider taking part in this race and finished in a great time of 2:18:33.  Well done.

28 March 2010 - Liverpool Half Marathon PB's for a number of runners
Over 36 Striders took part in this race with Paul Riley leading the way home in a PB of 1:25:42 closely followed by Andrew Keeley in 1:26:55 in another PB. more race info and runners on the road race pages.

28 March 2010 - Wilmslow Half Marathon PB for Martin Swensson

Martin Swensson smashed his personal best in this race.  In rather windy conditions he clocked 1:15.53 well done Martin.

27 March 2010 - Coniston 14+ is now a distance of 16.7 miles
Four struders took part in this race Simone Capponi was first strider home in 01:56:05. Second strider was Rob Hardwick in 02:06:56. Third Strider was Michelle Kelly in 02:27:11 closely followed by Jane Hallows in 02:27:25.  Well done everyone.

21 March 2010 - St Annes 10 Miles road race.


Seven Striders took part in this race with Nigel Grant the first strider home in 1:02:23. Paul Riley clocked a great time of 1:04.12 and a got a great PB in the process. Graham Beardsmore was third strider to finish in 1:09:24. Tim Warn was fourth strider finishing in 1:12:25. Mark finch clocked 1:23:51 with John Thompson coming home in 1:34:45.  Kevin O'Brien was 7th strider finishing1:50:22  well done folks.

14 March 2010 - Trimpell 20 Miles
   
Five striders took part in this race. Martin Swensson 2:01:32 (15th overall) was first strider home.  Andrew Stansfield 2:25:58 was the second strider to finish.
Ranj Moses finished in 2:53:07, Val Desborough did 2:58:27 and Alan Gidman clocked 3:01:51.  Well done everyone.

Two Striders took part in this race Mike Roberts finishing in 51.15 and Terence Long 53.09.  Well done both of you.

14 March 2010 - Roddlesworth Roller - 6 Mile Multi-terrain
Seven striders took part in this race first home was Simone Capponi in 37:42 closely followed by John Connolly in:37:55. Andrew Keeley finished in 39:27 with Tony Man finishing in 40:43. Pamela Thurtle was first lady home in 41:32 with Maria Cavaghan 41:56 hot on her heels. Natalie Cooper finished in  46:17.  Well done all.

07 March 2010 - Cloud 9 Hill Race 9 Mile - Congleton

Four Striders took part in this race with a special guest runner.  Simone Capponi was first striders to finish in 1.04.55 followed bu Paul Riley in 1.08.57.  Ian McNeil was tthird strider home in 1.12.17 followed by Gill Darby in 1.21.45.  Special Guest Mariano Capponi Simone's dad finished in a great time of 1.16.50. 
Well done all of you.

Four Striders took part in this fast flat 10k race around Partington  First Strider home was Tim Fletcher in a PB time of 40.49 followed by Dave Pinnington in 41.26. Mark finch was third Strider finishing in a time of 46.12.  Phil Murray finished in a time of 1.00.12.  Well done all.

07 March 2010 - Farndon 10k
Mike Roberts was the only Strider taking part in this race and finished in a time of 50.05. well done Mike.

07 March 2010 - Stanley Park 10k Blackpool
Martin Swensson was the sole Strider taking part in this race finishing in a superb time of 34.10 (7th overall and a pb by over a minute).  Well done Martin.

Four Striders took part in this race with Martin Swensson coming 5th overall in a time great time of 35.28. Neil Kelly was second strider to finish in 39.43. Tim Fletcher finished in a time of 43.32. Mark Finch completed the race in 53.22. Well done everyone.

17 January 2010 - Shell Four Villages Half Marathon


A good turnout for this race with a few PB's.  Nigel Grant was first Strider home in 1.22.46 Well done Nigel.. Paul Riley was second Strider home in 1.27.29 PB knocking around 3 mins off his previous PB.  Mark Hargreaves was third Strider home in 1.29.03. Dave Pinnington was fourth strider home in 1.32.41 PB knocking 6 mins off his previous PB.  Marty Hirrell was fifth strider home in 1.33.00.  Sixth Strider home was Andrew Stansfield in another PB time of 1.35.49 taking a minute off his previous best.  Rob Hardwick came home in 1.39.04 closely followed by Cristina Puccini 1.39.31.  Jane Eardley had a good run finishing in 1.45.29 and hot on her heels came Tarja Kinnunen in 1.45.43.Billy Taylor clocked 1.48.54. Val Desborough 1.53.09 late entrant Keith Boyle finished in 1.52.17, Russel Burnham 1.58.40, Neil Kenwright 1.59.15, Eunice Nopondo 2.05.41, Althea Dean 2.12.54 and Jane Hallows coming home in 2.44.41.  Well done everyone.
